Surf and Sand Mini Album! Is it summer yet??? Well it's not really even close here in the high Rockies, but a girl can dream, right? I found these adorable little canvas bags at Target and wanted to use them to make some kind of one of a kind mini album. So with some wood pieces as spacers I used a super easy Japanese Binding technique to make them into a book.   A little gesso on the pages and I was ready to go! It doesn't get much more beachy than Coral Sorbet Paint & Waimea Bay Colorations Spray! :) Then add a few drips and spritzes of Warm Colorations Spray gives it that warm and cozy- been around awhile- look! Make your own rust effects with Art Anthology! I'm here today to share my project inspired by our moodboard over on the Facebook group page,  Art Anthology Adventures in Ar t! This month’s board features some awesome rusty objects! If you haven’t played along yet, what are you waiting for!?  I’ve heard of other companies having mediums that look like rust, so naturally I had to see if we could make our own with Art Anthology products! Turns out, I only had to add one ingredient to some paint……and it was sand! With a combination of “sandy” Kenyan Copper Sorbet and Radiance Minx Shimmering Ink I was able to come up with something that looks pretty darn close!  I made a Snapguide tutorial for this project!
